Here is what our Elaine’s Hope families have to say

Thank you for the excellent care and compassion you provided for our dad. Thank you for extending the care and compassion to not only him, but our family. Everyone that helped care for him was so kind and gentle and we appreciate all of you. Elaine’s Hope was such a blessing for our family, and we will be forever grateful that he was welcomed into your care

This is so different from where my wife used to be live, I wish I would have moved her to Elaine’s Hope sooner.

Elaine’s Hope has given my husband and I 4 happy years together. What we saw was joy as the blue sky and sunshine; the pleasure of a cranberry muffin, the delight of seeing children and the emotional uplift of the symphony. Thank you for giving us these wonderful times together.

Words can’t begin to express how much I appreciate the love and compassion everyone always shows to my mom. Elaine’s Hope is truly blessed to have such caring and compassionate employees. You not only support my mom, but you also support me throughout her journey.

Thank you for exceptional care, kindness, and patience. Your dedication to the residents allows them to feel happy and safe in Elaine’s Hope. Theres also the additional little things… in my mom’s case, just putting on her headband, helping her pick out a necklace for the day and painting her nails, are the little extras that you do that are noticed and appreciated.

Thank you for providing such gentle and loving care for my wife. She would want this type of care and love to be carried forward as you continue to care for the most fragile portion of our society. Thank you for all the loving care you provide.

The staff, from the direct care staff to nursing, are thoughtful, caring, and responsive. They are knowledgeable about my wife’s preferences and needs.

Everyone here is AMAZING! There are so many activities, and it appears that everyone loves them.

Thank you for all the help with making sure my loved one adjusts to Elaine’s Hope. It puts my mind at ease knowing how well she’s being taken care of.

PROGRAMMING

Structured daily activities including physical and memory exercises, social events, art classes, music, community outings, games, and pet therapy are just a few of the activities that occur on a regular basis.

In addition to all our regularly scheduled activities and outings, we provide unparalleled intergenerational programming. Children from the Lutheran Home Children’s Center enjoy various activities with their grandfriends on a regular basis. Intergenerational programming promotes educational objectives, arts and recreation interests, desired states of health and welfare, and religious and spiritual well-being. Furthermore, intergenerational programs have been found to diminish ageist stereotypes, strengthen communities, and lead to improved services for children, youth and older adults.

Lutheran Home is proud to be nationally recognized for providing the finest in intergenerational programming. Our designation as a certified Program of Distinction by Generations United is based on our community’s history of effectively delivering high-quality intergenerational programming well above the national standard, and for consistently engaging participants, both young and old, to express themselves artistically, join in creative collaboration, and form new friendships across generations.program distinction
