The Children’s Center, located on the campus of the Lutheran Home, believes we can strengthen each family by providing high quality child care in a caring and nurturing setting. We recognize each child as a unique individual and believe that children learn through play . Through play, children develop physical coordination, emotional maturity, social skills to interact with other children, and self-confidence to try new experiences and explore new environments. We are also committed to the value of a multicultural and intergenerational experience for all children.
The Children’s Center at the Lutheran Home is licensed to serve children ages six weeks through twelve years of age*. As early childhood educators, we recognize that a program’s success is dependent on close relationships between children, staff and parents. We encourage parent participation in all areas of our program and welcome parents to stop in at any time.
The Center is also accredited by NAEYC https://www.naeyc.org/accreditation
The Center is open Monday – Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.. We are closed on all major holidays.
