From the moment you walk into Lutheran Home's Adult Day Center and experience the bright main rooms overlooking the playground (take a virtual tour) of our Children's Center, you know it's a unique program. Staffed with dedicated professionals, you know they love what they do.

Lutheran Home Adult Day Services is committed to providing comprehensive programs and supportive services that promote dignity, independence and self esteem, allowing individuals to stay in their homes. Loved ones enjoy the socialization, yet are supervised in a protective setting. Caregivers feel good about getting some much needed time for work or to care for themselves.

Should the need ever arise, Adult Day Services residents have prioritized access to a wide variety of services provided by Lutheran Home & Harwood Place, including: assisted living, rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, and a variety of programs.

Programs

Our staff provides personalized care, meeting individual's needs. This is evident in everything from alternative meal options to our ability/interest based small groups. Naturally we provide dignified assistance/support with feeding, bathing, dressing or other personal care, as needed. Whether it's a full day including fun, food and fellowship or occasional personal care services, you may select the amount of support which best meets your needs.

Caregiver Support

You cannot care for your loved one without caring for yourself. While enrolling a loved one in an Adult Day Services program can be a difficult decision, it can be your chance to do something wonderful for that person and for yourself. Whether helping you to get caught up, revitalized, rested or allowing you to return to work, Lutheran Home Adult Day Services can share the caring, allowing you to be at your best. Additionally, we understand the difficulties caregivers encounter and offer a Caregiver Support Group to help.
